The convention was compressed into one day instead of two this time around, but that didn’t mean it was any less exciting or full of excellent interviews and showcases. So what did you miss? Let’s discuss. Much like last year, SSF opened with a greeting by some familiar faces from SkySoft . It was nice to see them and hear their voices again, and they made sure the event kicked off with good energy. Additionally, we were shown sneak peeks of some of SkySoft’s big upcoming projects, including Sherwood , Beast , Mayari , and American Malice . When we learned the film would revolve around Filipino mythology and deities, that excitement turned to intrigue and curiosity. And when we found out that fan-favorite Jade Vourkari would be taking on the lead role of the goddess, fans knew that SkySoft was up to something special. With multiple roles in the SkySoft universe under her belt and with the support and adoration of fans, Vourkari is an excellent and exciting pick to lead this film and usher in a new realm of possibilities for SkySoft. April 5th, 2021 SkySoft Announces New Programming Lineup Changes In Light of Covid-19 Updates San Diego, California ⎼ SkySoft Entertainment announced today that, due to the continued uncertainty in regards to the Covid-19 pandemic, they would have to once again adjust their programming lineup. With this in mind, the following shows have been canceled : Eve Love, Infatuation, & Stability Mutant 5 Additionally, we have more info on new release dates : Sherwood will be released on December 10, 2022, on SkySoft Stream Mayari will be released on June 12, 2023, on SkySoft Stream Beast will be released on December 1, 2024, on SkySoft Premium While we’re on the topic of Mayari , Kealoha Nakamura has stepped down from the role of Director, with Monroe Hayden taking his place. Finally, as has been previously announced, American Malice is SkySoft Premium ’ s first series green-lit for three seasons. It is scheduled to premiere in 2023.

SkySoft 's family is about to get bigger with a 3 season order of their newest addition to their Premium lineup, American Malice . According to Dionysus Talent Management , the project is a fully-formed idea with SkySoft legend, Monroe Hayden and newcomer Barry Fitzgerald working together as writers and producers. The series centers around an asexual female lawyer with a killer secret. It's become a trademark at this point with Hayden written projects to have less represented female characters lead her films and it's reported to be one of the few productions to feature an official asexual character as the star.  The series is rated TV-MA for horror and gore, and is due in 2023 competing with Stream 's first feature film, Mayari , starring Jade Vourkari and premiering before SkySoft's most anticipated limited series, Beast , starring Bryon Allen .

The film revolves around the mythology and folklore of the Philippines. As such, writer and producer Monroe Hayden wanted to make sure the film had an all-Filipino cast. With that in mind, Jade Vourkari has signed on to play the titular character of Mayari. Vourkari has an impressive resume with SkySoft; she has already played the fan-favorite character of Daisy Peterson in Seasons 3 and 4 of Fox and Emily Pope in Season 2 of 365 , and will be portraying Scarlett in the upcoming series Sherwood. This will be Vourkari's first leading role.
