365: A New Show on the Rise

Drag Queens and rap stars and pop princesses- oh my! We're not in Gan Adan anymore...

A new anthology series that focuses on a different character's life for the duration of a year begins this December. Season One follows fallen rock star, Gwendolyn Fay in her pursuit of happiness... which of course depends on everyone and everything else around her. Set in Hollywood, CA- will the former Queen of Rock turn her life around by the end of the year?

The series is written and created by Monroe Hayden who magically created Fox and produced by Hunter Tabiendo and Daniel Rodriguez. The season is directed by newcomer, Ricky Garcia, who is better known for playing Brian Whittaker in Fox. The show also stars Hayden and Garcia as the leading roles, Gwendolyn Fay and her ex- husband, John Black. Other Fox alumni include Terrell Cooper as Kelvin Harris, Angel New as Emaya, Hunter Tabiendo as Penolope Beefcake, Jorgie Mason as Eliza and Steven Acedo as Miguel.

"We love Fox and love that genre but we also love satires. We love films and shows that make fun of life yet reel it in when things need to, so you get just enough reality yet can still laugh through all the mishaps. It wasn't until we all got together when we realized that we're playing ourselves, just an overly exaggerated version," Monroe Hayden said about the production. "365 is about redemption and it's about letting go and growing up."

"Makeup is really fun when its challenging and this show had its challenge," makeup artist, Liz Lanz Shattner said about her experience with transforming Hunter Tabiendo into drag queen sensation, Penolope Beefcake. "There's a lot more work that goes into Hunter's makeup than Monroe's." Drag queen's aside, the show proves to have its other challenges for the makeup department that differ from SkySoft's previous show; era's. As we follow Gwendolyn on her road to redemption, we are swept back and forth throughout time ranging from the years, 2000 - 2017.

From wigs to eyeliner, each decade represents a certain event in Gwen's life whether it's the rise of her career or the fall of her marriage- specific years become essential stamps to the story and Lanz- Shattner is the wizard with the wand to transform our young actors into their characters. Gwen and John were 21 when they were married and divorced at 28. By the time we meet them it's been 10 years and the former couple are now 38 years old. Bags under the eyes, smile lines and gray hair come with the package!

365 is rated M for Mature for language, sexuality, brief nudity and drug use. Stream the full season on December 18, 2017 at www.skysoftentertainment.com

5 Reasons Daisy Should Be With Fox and 5 Ways She Could've Gone If She Wasn't

By Jen Sanchez It may seem like a long time has passed since we witnessed the dramatic and emotional love between Fox of Auxdra ( Monroe Hayden ) and Daisy Peterson ( Jade Vourkari ) on Fox , but it was only two short years ago when the series ended. During the time, it was apparent (still is now) that Daisy should be with Fox, but what would happen if she didn’t end up with her?  Granted, fans of the show already know who Daisy ends up with (and if you don’t, then stop reading because this article has spoilers!). It’s painstakingly clear just how much Daisy loves Fox and vice versa, which is why many fans feel it was obvious. But for the sake of new material, and perhaps to offer a unique perspective, keep reading to discover five reasons why Daisy should be with Fox and what we think could have happened to her if she wasn’t.  1. SkyWire Awards 2019

Courtesy of SkySoft The end of the year is fast approaching, which means it’s time for SkySoft’s 2nd Annual SkyWire Awards, an opportunity to look back at the past year of SkySoft and acknowledge the hard work, talent, and dedication of our cast and crew. Before we get into the nominees, there is another important announcement in regards to the voting procedures. This year, because Season 2 of 365 was entered into the vault early, voting is closed off to the public, which means the fan award segment will also not be featured. Additionally, moving forward there will no longer be a fan award segment, and all winners will be chosen by an unbiased third party, just like a majority of the winners were decided last year. For a reminder of the rules and categories (how and why nominees are selected, how and why winners are chosen, and more information), please consult our earlier post explaining the SkyWire awards here: https://skysoftentertainment.blogspot.com/2018/12...

Fox: Season IV (Special Edition) now available

Fox ’s Special Edition is the director’s cut of the 2019 American fantasy series Fox: Season IV . It presents the final season as director Monroe Hayden had intended it before interference with investors. Hayden oversaw the original versions of Fox ’s Seasons 3 and 4’s in accordance with a mandate from the show’s investors with a more traditional score, abandoning Season 2’s musical platform that featured original compositions from four composers, including Hayden.  The switch was not taken lightly, but she proceeded anyway. However, in the event of 365: Season 2’s flop, investors pressured her to take the season down within 24 hours. Less than a year later, she re-released the season on the site only to receive backlash from fans, as well as the same investors. The decision to take it down for good inspired her to buy the investors out with interest. By January 2021, she had bought them out, in full, and now has complete control, particularly with the Fox franchise. Although i...
