'FOX' Season 3 Is Delayed!

Every Fox fans worst nightmare is coming true: the next installment to the hit show is being delayed but only by a few months.

It's disappointing, sure but not entirely surprising considering the facts we know; 1.) The show has outpaced the novels. 2.) Last season left on an insanely climatic cliffhanger with Fox's father, Jaul played by Kory Green, returning and Rath (Steven Acedo) taking Trobathian heroin Daisy Peterson, played by Melanie Tornroth in season 2- while a seemingly curious Merila (Janelle Garcia) watching Jaul and Fox (Monroe Hayden) depart into the mountains of Rizandor. 3.) The show has one film unit to film both Ganadan and Trobathian scenes. 4.) Every season delivers on a higher level than the season prior.

(From Left to Right): Daniel Andrade, Kealoha Nakamura, Kory Green and Hunter Tabiendo prepare for a scene in the snow.

With expectations such as these to exceed, the production needs more time to make it especially since the show films in real locations and weather plays a serious part to that. With the teaser trailer just released, it is pretty apparent that Fox will be travelling the tops of the mountains of Rizandor or perhaps Auxdra, with her growing brotherhood. Filming in snow brings lots of challenges to front; 1.) It's cold. 2.) It melts.

Hunter Tabiendo stands in as a Dream Demon while Monroe Hayden gets in character.

Continuity is everything! So if the snow melts, the crew has to travel further to get footage to match or reshoot the scene(s) in a more familiar environment. However, despite continuity- another main concern is that filming in freezing temperatures limits the drive of the team. Actors are layered and cheating their way to keep the warmth of their body heat while filming but that can only keep them warm for so long until they start risking frost bite. So although you see no shivering or blue lips, believe us when we say that actors are fighting the cold with every ounce of heat they have!

So even though it is a downer that we have to wait, yes even me- I may work for SkySoft but I don't know much about the future of the characters or plots, it is understandable as to why waiting is a must. Here's a warm round of applause to the actors for bearing the cold!

Fox: Season IV (Special Edition) now available

Fox ’s Special Edition is the director’s cut of the 2019 American fantasy series Fox: Season IV . It presents the final season as director Monroe Hayden had intended it before interference with investors. Hayden oversaw the original versions of Fox ’s Seasons 3 and 4’s in accordance with a mandate from the show’s investors with a more traditional score, abandoning Season 2’s musical platform that featured original compositions from four composers, including Hayden.  The switch was not taken lightly, but she proceeded anyway. However, in the event of 365: Season 2’s flop, investors pressured her to take the season down within 24 hours. Less than a year later, she re-released the season on the site only to receive backlash from fans, as well as the same investors. The decision to take it down for good inspired her to buy the investors out with interest. By January 2021, she had bought them out, in full, and now has complete control, particularly with the Fox franchise. Although i...

SkyWire Awards 2019

Courtesy of SkySoft The end of the year is fast approaching, which means it’s time for SkySoft’s 2nd Annual SkyWire Awards, an opportunity to look back at the past year of SkySoft and acknowledge the hard work, talent, and dedication of our cast and crew. Before we get into the nominees, there is another important announcement in regards to the voting procedures. This year, because Season 2 of 365 was entered into the vault early, voting is closed off to the public, which means the fan award segment will also not be featured. Additionally, moving forward there will no longer be a fan award segment, and all winners will be chosen by an unbiased third party, just like a majority of the winners were decided last year. For a reminder of the rules and categories (how and why nominees are selected, how and why winners are chosen, and more information), please consult our earlier post explaining the SkyWire awards here: https://skysoftentertainment.blogspot.com/2018/12...
