What SkySoft Shows Got Renewed And Which Ones Got Cut?

It's the moment everyone waits anxiously for; what the quarterly earnings report means for future shows.

SkySoft's hit show came to an end this year and its viewership proved that its legacy will continue on, for it secured the place for spin- off shows like Eve and Ronin doubling their initial budgets. Fox alumni's Janelle Garcia and Jamie Owens will reprise their roles as Eve and Ronin premiering in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Principal photography for both shows begins next year back to back.

365 season 2, however, has had a rocky post production process that resulted in going over budget. Although it has not been detailed, future seasons of the show has been canceled. Season 2 will be the final season.

Mutant 5, a Limited Series, revealed to be SkySoft's most expensive show and serves a prequel for the highly anticipated Sherwood. Future seasons of the Robin Hood retelling has yet to be decided and will most likely be determined next quarter. Both shows premiere next year.

Love, Infatuation and Stability is confirmed to be a Limited Series due in 2021 while the announcement of Beast has a 2022 premiere. The show is also a Limited Series focusing on the Beast's story of the classic french tale, Beauty and the Beast.

Last Look was given the greenlight to launch a second season next October while a horror series is also due that month as well. A documentary originally scheduled for next year is pending authorization.

There you have it! Not too much bad news but there is some, at least for 365 fans.

Fox ’s Special Edition is the director’s cut of the 2019 American fantasy series Fox: Season IV . It presents the final season as director Monroe Hayden had intended it before interference with investors. Hayden oversaw the original versions of Fox ’s Seasons 3 and 4’s in accordance with a mandate from the show’s investors with a more traditional score, abandoning Season 2’s musical platform that featured original compositions from four composers, including Hayden. The switch was not taken lightly, but she proceeded anyway. However, in the event of 365: Season 2’s flop, investors pressured her to take the season down within 24 hours. Less than a year later, she re-released the season on the site only to receive backlash from fans, as well as the same investors. SkySoft Premium Explained!

SkySoft has released a lot of free content featuring mostly upcoming talent, relying on Monroe Hayden to bring in as many viewers as possible. It was pretty clear that with Hayden’s upcoming departure from SkySoft shows, the company would need more options to bring in more revenue. Beast will be the first real blockbuster to be routed to premium video-on-demand. It’s an economic gamble, but also an acknowledgment of the reality of what will be left of the marketplace after COVID-19, which could be an unprecedented time. It could also be the way of the future; with so many streaming services piling up in bills, buying an exclusive show or film may be a better and affordable option for some people, rather than committing monthly to a service.
