Image courtesy of SkySoft Entertainment SAN DIEGO, California, January 4, 2021 (SkyWire) ⎼ SkySoft Entertainment announced today that they have found an actress to take on the lead role of their first feature-length film Mayari . The film revolves around the mythology and folklore of the Philippines. As such, writer and producer Monroe Hayden wanted to make sure the film had an all-Filipino cast. With that in mind, Jade Vourkari has signed on to play the titular character of Mayari. Vourkari has an impressive resume with SkySoft; she has already played the fan-favorite character of Daisy Peterson in Seasons 3 and 4 of Fox and Emily Pope in Season 2 of 365 , and will be portraying Scarlett in the upcoming series Sherwood. This will be Vourkari's first leading role.
